Year 6 are taught by Mrs Haylock with help from Teaching Assistant Mrs Stork.
In year 6 we have great fun studying WW2, visiting Nothe Fort dressed as evacuees and cooking and eating food from the war. We also study the decades since the war and how life in Britain has changed. During the summer we study the Jurassic Coast along with the wrecks and Smugglers found there.
Mrs Haylock enjoys history and science. She is also our Maths leader and can get rather over-excited when we are doing well in Sumdog competitions! She loves gardening, resulting in Year 6 getting to garden a lot. Mrs Haylock also has two cats called Bill and Ben.
Year 6 and Mrs Haylock have also started blogging! To see photos from the class and to read blog entries written by the children please view their blog using the button below.
